Introduction to Coding – Foundations Class

In this beginner-friendly course, students will learn the very basics of what coding is and how simple instructions can make characters move, act, and solve problems.

What Students Will Do

• Learn block coding and give commands to a character

• Watch an explanatory video about how coding relates to real life

• Understand algorithms & debugging through guided activities

• Work together to help a character reach its home using step-by-step code

• Complete coding tasks with specific goals and outcomes
